No MaineFIRST Robotics team can accomplish what it accomplishes without the help of dedicated students, parents, friends, professional volunteers, corporate sponsors, school officials, community members, legislators...yes, even the Governor! Maine has some great opportunities for kids to play hard at science and technology. FIRST Robotics is just that kind of opportunity, high school students working side by side with professionals in education and industry, developing skills and relationships that will last a lifetime. Help spread the word about FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.

Special Thanks to
Fairchild Semiconductor

Special MaineFIRST thanks goes out to Fairchild Semiconductor
for their outstanding support of
FIRST Robotics in the state of Maine.

In 2010, Fairchild
supported all of the VEX (2) and Lego League (1)
competitions in Maine
Subsidized post season travel ($400/person)
of all the qualifying teams from those competitions
Paid registration fees for every FRC team in Maine

Again in 2011, Fairchild will fund the registration fee
for all Maine FIRST Robotics teams.

Steve, thank you and Fairchild soooooo much--I hope you realize how much this means to all.

Also, a thanks to all of the Maine teams for their incredible support throughout our Rookie season--we would not have made it without all of your support. Who ever said it would be the hardest fun you can have, had it nailed. I think I'm still recovering from the 90 hour weeks.

We look forward to another season.

Also, we would love to have the meetings continue--they were extremely helpful.

Again, thanks to everyone involved--you've made a difference in the lives of so many students!
